MOVE (the new name for the airasia Superapp) brings flights, hotels and rewards into a single account. This page is a practical playbook: how to set it up right, manage trips, turn on the notifications that actually matter, and keep your data safe.

Clean install & first login

  1. Download the official app (publisher: AirAsia MOVE Sdn Bhd). Avoid clones with similar icons.
  2. Sign up with an email you’ll keep long-term. Turn on MFA/OTP and add a recovery phone.
  3. Complete your profile with passport names only (no punctuation), DOB and nationality; this prevents check-in errors later.
  4. Add a card or wallet; enable 3-D Secure for smooth payments.

Already booked on the website? Tap Add trip and import your PNR + last name. Using the same email across web/app syncs bookings automatically.

What’s inside MOVE

  • Trips: all upcoming flights with seat/baggage management and mobile boarding passes.
  • Rewards: earn points on flights, hotels and partners; see expiry and redemption options.
  • Deals: member-only fare windows and targeted promos once you’re logged in.
  • Wallet: store cards, view receipts, and request invoices for business trips.

Notifications that are actually useful

  • Enable Trip updates: gate changes, delay notices, schedule modifications.
  • Silence promotional pushes but keep “member pricing” alerts during big sales weeks.
  • Add a fallback email address so you don’t miss rebooking instructions.

Tip: when you switch phones, sign out on the old device so OTPs don’t get stuck on an inactive SIM.

Missing trip after login

Check you booked with a different email; import via PNR + last name, then merge profiles by keeping a single email going forward.

App crashes or won’t load

Update Android System WebView/Chrome, clear cache, or reinstall. Check low-storage warnings.

Boarding pass won’t generate

Some routes require counter verification; you’ll still see the itinerary and can print at the airport.

Payment declines

Enable international transactions/3-D Secure with your bank, or use another card/wallet. Re-try in an hour if the gateway is busy.
